CALA DRAGUNARA

A small jewel with unique colors near the promontory of Capo Caccia, it is about 20 meters long and offers a pier where small boats can moor.

THE NORTH COAST

PORTICCIOLO

Beach located on the north-western coast in the inlet of Porticciolo: a crescent of sand perfectly placed between the colors and scents of the Mediterranean maquis. During spring, there is a real explosion of colours. With its rocky seabed that gives the waters a blue-green colour, it is closed to the north by a cliff and dominated by a watchtower.

PORTOFERRO

A deep dark blue sea and an immense free beach, bordered by large red dunes. It is located near Lake Baratz, the only natural lake in Sardinia: a simple and naturalistic trekking route connects the beach to the lake area. Beaten by mistral winds, the beach is the favorite of surfers and kids who love nature and the simple life. The Porto Ferro bar, run by a friend, is one of the most popular places for musical evenings and to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sardinia with a drink.

THE SOUTH COAST AND THE ROAD TO BOSA

The road from Alghero to Bosa is one of the most beautiful in all of northern Sardinia, especially at sunset. Recreational cycling is not recommended due to the steep climb on the way back and the various hairpin bends, but with a car you will find very little traffic as there are not many easily accessible beaches.

CALA BURANTINUO OR DEL BOULANTI'

One of the favorite destinations of navigators due to the tranquility and beauty of its waters between the cliffs, not easily accessible by land. You will have to leave your car on the road at km 6 of the Alghero-Bosa road and continue on foot for about 1 km.

LA SPERANZA

About 8 km south of the city, on the splendid coast that you travel along to go from Alghero to Bosa, is the Speranza beach, mainly made up of gravel and amber-colored sand. Sheltered from the mistral and exposed to the sirocco and midday winds and on days when these winds dominate, it is a destination for passionate surfers. Wide free beach with small lidos and bars.

CALA MANAGU

10 kilometers from Bosa, set in a wild hinterland and rocky slopes overlooking the sea, the beach of Cala Managu is for few connoisseurs. In the sea of intense color the islet Managu stands out.

STINTINO AND LA PELOSA

LA PELOSA

La Pelosa is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean and perhaps in the whole world! An hour's drive from Alghero, in July and August it is always very crowded and now limited in number but it is always worth a try! To access the beach it is necessary to bring mats with you to safeguard the beach and above all to book betweenmild thewebsite. From Alghero it can also be reached by bus (bus schedules).
